Welcome to French Art Club.

This collection represents the culmination of more than twenty-five years spent travelling the length and breadth of France in search of beautiful, forgotten artworks.

Every print begins with an original painting personally sourced by Polly Isabella Markham from brocantes, flea markets, antique shops, auction houses, artists' estates and private collections throughout France.

These are not generic reproductions pulled from museum archives or public-domain image libraries. Each artwork has been individually selected for its beauty, character and atmosphere before being carefully digitised and prepared for print as part of the French Art Club archive.

Many of these paintings have spent decades hidden away in country houses, village brocantes and antique markets before finding their way into Polly's private collection.

Today, for the first time, selected works from that collection are being made available as fine art prints.

All prints are professionally produced as Fine Art Giclée prints using archival pigment inks on premium museum-quality paper.

Preserving the Integrity of the Original Artwork

Historic French paintings were rarely created to modern standard paper sizes.

Rather than cropping, stretching or altering the composition, each artwork has been carefully matched to the most suitable print format available, preserving the balance and proportions intended by the original artist.

Where shown, white borders form part of the finished artwork and are intentionally included as part of the presentation.

Purchase of a print grants the buyer the right to display the artwork in a private home or office environment only.

No reproduction, scanning, copying, distribution, resale, licensing, AI training, commercial use or derivative works are permitted without prior written permission.
