A wonderfully characterful vintage 1940’s Sealyham Terrier dog figurine, modelled in cast metal with a dark grey/black finish and charming inset amber-coloured eyes.
This little fellow has bags of personality. He is beautifully modelled in a traditional standing pose, with the distinctive sturdy body, textured wiry coat, drop ears and upright tail associated with the Sealyham and similar British terrier breeds.
The textured casting is particularly good for such a small piece, giving definition to the coat and face, while the warm brown eyes provide a lovely contrast against the dark metal finish.
