A beautiful and wonderfully decorative vintage French Louis Lourioux “Le Faune” fireproof porcelain serving dish, dating from the mid-20th century.
Made in France, this substantial rectangular oven-to-table dish is decorated with colourful botanical sprays of roses, tulips and other flowers, finished with a fine gilt rim and particularly attractive gilt scroll and striped detailing to the sides.
The underside carries the original Louis Lourioux “Le Faune” Fireproof Porcelain – Made in France backstamp.
